Daycare Health and Safety at Select Learning Academy are our top priorities. We are committed to ensuring that your child grows in a safe and secure environment.

Our safety and security protocols are strictly enforced.  Select Learning Academy's safety protocols include:

• Secure check-in and check-out

• Safe sleep procedures

• Doors remained locked from outside

• Safety scans of the environment

• Cameras for security

Our School's health and safety protocols include:

• Temperature Check for anyone who enters

• Touchless check-in

• External drop-off and pick-up of children

• Halo Disinfection System

• Increased frequency of handwashing

• All staff are required to wear masks ages 2 years to 6 years it is optional to wear masks

• Frequent  and thorough disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys and surfaces

• Training teachers on common signs of illness in children and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness in mind

• Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until free for at least 24 hours. ​

• Limiting the people who enter the building to current staff and enrolled families only

• All staff trained by the Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families for all safety protocols including but not limited to Child Care Basics COVID-19

• Ensuring lower teacher-student classroom ratios than required by state
